He was born in Matsue city, Shimane prefecture and came to Tokyo at the age of 19. He participated in the launch of “Za sting”, a theatrical group. After that he played on stages, movies and commercial messages and he also played as an actor for sound dubbing. Then he left the theatrical group and became free-lance. In spite of the handicap on his right hand brought by polio in his infancy, he learned Tate and horse riding actively and appeared on NHK drama and stages. Although he had suspended the activities as an actor for a while, he appeared on Brave Season “Shin” in 2004 by the request of Masatoshi Kubo, the leader of Brave Season and then became a member of Brave Season Basara. He is in charge of music selection. Personally he often directs stage performances and teaches Tate. He loves various kinds of movies and goes to movie theaters more than 30 times a year. He always creates a lively atmosphere by his guts, humor and occasional failures. He loves red color and has a red cap on everyday. |
