 At the age of 18 she entered Parson’s School of Design in New York and learned fine art for 2 years. After she returned to Japan, she started her entertainment activities and she appeared on TV dramas, educational TV programs, stages and musicals. She also performs a dance and designs the movements. She learned Musousindenryu Iai-do from Manabu Soejima. She has San-dan (the third grade of black belt) of Iai-do and won several tournaments. She teaches Iai-do to her pupils. In 2004 she learned dancing at Broadway Dance Center, Steps, Dance Space in New York. In 2005 she joined Brave Season and then became a member of Brave Season Basara in order to express the combination of reality and performance by training both Tate and Budo (martial or military arts in Japan).She aims to produce and express a new type of Tate which transcends usual ones in cooperation with other members. She teaches Iai to other members.
